About this deal

One year ago, a mystery disease turned anyone over the ages of fourteen and fifteen into voracious zombie-like creatures, and the surviving children have formed a number of groups to better survive and combat the threat. In Holloway, London, a group in a local Waitrose supermarket have begun to grow increasingly frustrated as children are kidnapped and killed by adults, who appear to be becoming smarter. Zahra, Ameena and Nadia - Malik's sisters whom Malik discovers dead in their beds once returning to his house. These kids either don't belong to any particular group, mix groups, or have yet to join any. They usually do not remain in one area and are of particular note. Deke – A boy in the Waitrose group. He is Freak's best friend and, before the epidemic, always hung around with him. During the swimming pool episode, Deke dies after suffering a punctured lung from broken vending machine glass, and grown-ups take him away to eat him.

At the same time, Arran begins hallucinating as he is being cradled by Maxie. Believing her to be his mother, he smiles and whispers, "I love you, Mum", before dying in Maxie's arms. They then spend the next hour or so cremating Arran and the other kids who had died in the battle. Freak spray-paints the names of the kids who died on the wall, along with a final message onto the wall: " This is where Arran Harper fell. We don't know the day or the date, but we'll never forget it. He was the bravest of us all. " [5] Well I’ve got a couple of big TV projects on the go. The main one is a big 10-hour fantasy drama series for ITV. If all goes well, it should be on our screens next September. But because it’s early days I can’t actually tell you that much about it sadly. Callum (deceased) - A boy who is extremely Agoraphobic and refuses to leave Waitrose with the other children. He survives on his own for a while but eventually succumbs to bitter loneliness and lets the adults kill him after they break into the store.

The Enemy

Rose – The head doctor at the palace. She is loyal to David, but seems to feel guilty about imprisoning Maxie and Blue. According to Jester, she was originally from his group and came to the palace with him and others. But aside from that, the development of the kids, the different groups and cultures that have sprung up in these groups is good worldbuilding. Each different group of kids has it's own customs, traditions, languages and while they're not /too different/ they all still have their quirks and its just interesting. The expansion of the world just in one book was great. The End is the 7th book in the series. Initially Charlie only set out to write three books, but the world of The Enemy expanded way beyond that. The End contains a lot of what the third book in the trilogy was always going to be, but a huge amount happened to grow the world in a kind of concertina fashion between the first and last books. Fish-Face - She is very shy and has a normal body but a strange fish-like head, her eyes are pushed around to the side and she has a wide, wet mouth. She visits the museum and recognises Wormwood as her father. Her real name is Fiona Wormold. Jamey, Adamand Will- A few boys from Rowhurst who were killed by infected teachers during the early stages of the outbreak.

Day 5 - Shadowman, Ben and Bernie look for bombs, Shadowman sleeps at Trafalgar, Mr. Three broadcasts signal. This series says it over and over again—we have to work together to survive. It’s a lesson that fit right into my current world. Tish - Sent by Matt to infiltrate the Tower, she is fourteen and dresses all in green, with a scab on her forehead. She is distraught over the death of her friend Louise. Small Sam - A nine-year-old boy who became separated from the group and desperate to find his sister, Ella. He is also a main protagonist as the story follows what is happening to him as the main story unfolds. Kids waiting, single white cloud, bird call, David offer, Paul makes army bow heads, Ryan sees from Park Lane.

Sickos

He worked as producer, writer, director and occasional guest star on Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) from 2000 to 2001. Subsequent television work has included writing and starring in BBC Three's Fast Show spin-off sitcom Swiss Toni. He is currently starring in Tittybangbang series 3 on BBC Three and has appeared as a panellist on QI. Marcoand Felix- Marco and Felix are DogNut's best friends and are constantly with him. Marco is kind to everyone and would be more popular if he didn't hang around with Felix, whereas Felix is constantly saying horrible things to people, this causes him and Marco to get into a lot of fights. Marco wears a World War II German helmet, and uses a spear, and Felix uses a sword. Godzilla - A puppy that belonged to Joel. After Joel's death. he was adopted by the rest of the Holloway crew.

Arno Fletcher - A small, skinny boy with long hair who is a born politician. He is the true leader of the Ascot kids and was the inventor of the Ascot Races.

Publication Order of The Enemy Books

Damien Sullivan - Another of Bam's rugby friends, he is Anthony's brother and is very strong and tough. The Holloway crew are survivors. They've fought their way across London and made it to the Natural History Museum alive - just. But the fight will never end while the Enemy lives, unless there's another way. . . Well I try to avoid writing characters that are hard to do, and I find that they are, I just kill ‘em! The preparation for a battle in Hyde Park and the political actions between Jordan, David, Nicola, Justin and Matt. Suffered a punctured lung from a broken vending machine glass, and dragged away to be eaten by grown-ups.

They must work together if they want to make it in this terrifying new world. But when fresh disaster threatens to overwhelm London, they realize they won't all survive...

When a plague hits the world contaminating anyone older than fourteen, turning them into blood-thirsty undead horrors children are left to fend for themselves. With intertwining narratives, plenty of likeable(and despicable) characters and most importantly heaps of bloody gore Higson creates a sprawling apocalyptic teen-masterpiece of a horror series.
