Switchable smart film is operated by a simple electrical switch to control the opacity of the switchable film, turning it from clear to translucent. It can easily be integrated into home automation systems too, giving you even more control. Please note each installation is different, based upon the overall quantity of material required and its location. For smaller, less typical projects (generally less than 10m2) the cost per m2 could increase significantly. Custom sizes of our smart glass film can be manufactured to fit on existing glass surfaces like glass partitions or external windows or multiple pieces can be joined to cover large partitioned areas. This unique technology also transforms any glass into a HD/4K rear projection surface, with the potential to display presentations, images, and videos.

Switchable Glass

The change can be triggered by a range of wall switches, remote controls, movement sensors, light sensors or timers in less than 0.01 seconds. Variations of switchable smart glass can be supplied including; colour tinted, fire rated, double glazed, curved and shaped. From award winning architecture projects, to unveiling the world’s most luxurious cars, we have seen Switchable technology work well in an extremely wide range of environments, including but not limited to homes, hotels, offices, healthcare, retail, hospitality and much more. Even the creative uses of this technology is constantly being expanded.
